Upcoming Activities

As part of our ongoing commitment to advancing reproductive justice, youth leadership, and community-led development, Alpha Action for Social and Economic Development (AASED) will implement the following activities:

  • Community Creative Artivism & Forum Theatre:
    Organize interactive forum theatre performances that empower communities to openly discuss reproductive justice issues, challenge stigma, and promote informed, collective action.
  • Youth-Led Murals for Non-Violent Activism:
    Support young people to design and paint creative murals as peaceful tools for advocacy, awareness-raising, and community empowerment.
  • Youth Digital Advocacy Campaigns:
    Organize youth-led TikTok and Twitter campaigns to amplify accurate information, promote positive narratives, and engage wider audiences on reproductive justice and safe abortion.
  • Legal Literacy Forums:
    Conduct community legal literacy forums co-hosted with legal professionals and health authorities to demystify reproductive health laws, clarify rights, and strengthen community confidence in accessing lawful services.
  • Community Empowerment & Follow-Up:
    Strengthen community ownership by following up on issues raised, supporting local dialogue, and tracking commitments made by leaders, service providers, and duty bearers.
  • Networking & Resource Mobilization:
    Facilitate networking among youth groups, community leaders, civil society actors, health providers, and legal practitioners to build partnerships, leverage resources, and enhance sustainability of advocacy efforts.
  • Youth & Community Voices Documentary:
    Produce a short documentary capturing lived experiences, community perspectives, and youth-led activism to support advocacy, learning, and resource mobilization.
  • Education, Monitoring & Learning (MEL):
    Continue distributing educational materials and conducting Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning activities to measure impact, document lessons, and inform adaptive programming.
